Ian Fisher has been with Hillsong Church since becoming a Christian at Hills back in 1984. He has played bass for the Worship team since that time being involved in many projects, such as Hillsong Conference, Worship Albums, Youth Alive and other in-house services and events.
Ian attended Bible College at Hillsong Church in 1989-90 and became a Lay Pastor in 1992, and then in 1999 Ian became Pastor on staff for the Hillsong Worship Team. His pastoral role in looking after the team was always encouraging and motivating, building the team throughout the year for strength and endurance, preparing and equipping team members for major events, such as Hillsong Conference and the Worship Album each year.
Ian has taught on Church Worship for many years in Australia, USA, Canada, England, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa, via conferences and seminars, and now God has opened the door to a ministry vision for Europe that he has believed in for many years.
Ian not only speaks on developing the Worship Team but also speaks powerfully on Church Leadership, inspiring congregations to rise to their God given potential and to fulfill the mandate of building the House of God. Ian's gift is to encourage the Body of Christ and to lift the hearts of God’s people to build and serve in the Church, with contemporary teaching on Preparation, Development and Building, to Establish the House with Generational Thinking.
Since April 2006 Ian has been released from his staff role and position to pursue the call of God upon his life, which has led him straight to Europe, where he feels the Church is need of encouragement and innovation. Secular Europe is a continent full of vision, yet we find the Church in many ways lacking vision and holding on to styles and traditions that have been over used and are out of date. Vision for a new contemporary sound, method and approach is desperately needed, and time is short.
Ian believes that the message of Jesus is eternal and everlasting and never needs to change, but our methods can get out of date and must require constant change and upgrading. If the Church is to remain relevant and connected to the society and communities where we minister, Change must become a friendly word to prepare the Church for a new generation of believers who are radical, relevant and innovative in their approach to this 21st century Church.

Lucy and her husband Ian were introduced to the Christian life at a meeting of Hills Christian Life Centre in June of 1984. They both had extensive experience working in bands over the years prior to their conversion, and after a period of settling in to their newfound faith started being a part of the worship team at Hills C.L.C. now Hillsong Church.
In 1985 Youth Alive began ministering to the youth in Sydney and Lucy began singing and worship leading with the team from Hills for the rallies. Lucy with her incredible energy and remarkable singing began to set the rallies on fire with the high praises of God as she worked the band to new levels of radical 'praise and worship.' Lucy continued to develop in this role with Youth Alive from 1985-1992 singing at all the rallies and also recording the first two Youth Alive 'Totally Radical' albums.
During this time Lucy developed her gift as a singer/worship leader at Hills where she started ministering prophetically through the 'prophetic song' leading the band and the church through breakthrough areas in worship.
Lucy teaches on many areas of voice development and structure and teaching principals of the prophetic voice at Hillsong Conferences which began in 1986 an also nationally and internationally. She preaches at leading churches in Australia, and at Women's meetings and district A.O.G. leadership meetings. Lucy now has been involved on all the Hillsong albums to date and has written 'Lord of the Heavens' and 'Breathe on Me' (Shout To The Lord 2000), and All I know.
Lucy's commitment to Hills over the years has seen her take on areas of Pastoring with her husband Ian as Pastors for the worship team. Also as a Senior Teacher with Hillsong International Leadership College, in the Creative Arts dept as a vocal tutor, and lecturer in worship and musicology subjects.
Lucy travels nationally and internationally teaching vocals and conducting training vocal seminars, also preaching and ministering to the whole body of Christ. With her Husband Ian, they minister to creative teams and church body and also have been keynote speakers to family camps and couples/marriage training nights. Lucy recorded her first solo album 'Come So Far' in 1992, and her second album in 1998 called First Place, and now she has developed a Vocal Training series (I and II) available on C.D. also from our webstore.
In 2003 Lucy traveled and ministered in Malaysia, Brunei (both twice) Portugal, Spain. Lucy is a committed woman to God and has over the years developed to be one of the great Worship Leader/Singers in Australia. Her heart is always to bring a blessing whenever she ministers, to get involved with the teams she sings and leads with, and to impart on a very high standard of consistency and leadership.
